Client: Chase Bank
Role: UX, Interaction Design
Chase, a long-time sponsor of the U.S. Open, was looking to increase their social presence this year so they reached out to us for some concepts. Their main goal was to give fans a glimpse of what it's like to attend the fashionable sports event. I created some brand new concepts based on the capabilities of our platform. The "In or Out" concept allows fans to be the line judge for fashion at the event. Their curated list of social images could be Tweeted out as a fashion opinion from the visualization. The "Vine Booth" concept would be a physical animated photo booth at the event for celebrities and VIPs to capture a memory. These Vines would be collected in the Social Hub offering a unique view into the event. The "Roaming Reporters" concept is the fan's go to dashboard for up-to-the-minute news around the U.S. Open. "Photo Stream" is a novel way to present photos from the event on anything from an iPad to a Jumbotron. All four concepts were to feature the hashtag, #ChaseReview in order to reinforce Chase's association with the U.S. Open and to encourage the hashtag to trend on Twitter.
1. Featured never-before-seen concepts
2. Included ideas for in-venue implementations
3. Offered a unique view of an event that could be sponsored by any brand
